
To work with ecotourism partners, NGOs, local communities and local authorities to successfully establish and maintain basic protocols in protecting popular turtle landing and nesting beaches, in order to reconnect orang-utan and pygmy elephant populations, maintain genetically viable populations and ensure the sustainable use of the riverine forests for human development.
To raise hatching rate of turtle eggs on the island hatchery and increase survival rate of hatchlings.
To work with and empower the local communities in and around the Turtle Islands to promote sustainable stewardship of the natural resources, in particular the marine life including corals and seaweed that support sustainable populations of turtles, marine mammals and fish, through alternative and environmentally based economic solutions and the application of clean technologies.
